Josh Livingston is a 2021 3B/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Prosper, TX who attends Plano West Senior. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned nicely throughout frame, additional room to develop. Primary third baseman, moves well and shows coordination to body, fields the ball out front and funnels into a lower release, shows comfort on the turn and quickness and balance to actions on the charge, accurate throws, occasionally opens front side early at release. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a narrow and slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow in the box; balance swing and does a nice job of creating separation out front. Balanced swing and low effort path with loose hands, creates consistent contact out front. Occasionally gets to front side early but strength in hands plays well, can cover the outer half part of the plate and go with the pitch, nice jump off the barrel when squared. Very good student.
