Lane Roberts is a 2023 RHP/3B, SS, OF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Naylor, GA who attends Lowndes. Showcased a medium frame with an athletic build showing room to fill in the future. Ran a 7.99 second sixty yard dash. Primary Righthanded pitcher working with a smooth delivery. Working with a quicker tempo while showing a good rhythm. Clean arm action with a short arm circle in the back. Over the top arm slot while pitching to contact. Works both sides of the plate. Hides the baseball well out of hand. Fastball topping out at 73 mph as he went on to pitch off of it. Secondary Infielder showing clean footwork. Good glove actions with a slower transfer making sure of clean gather. Pats glove into the shuffle. Mechanics present, will make a jump if he fills out physically. Righthanded hitter starting with weight on front foot. Low hands before getting the barrel out front showing some lift in the swing. Patient approach. Good Student.
