Luke Moellering is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Dulles HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic build. Primary lefthanded pitcher, low effort delivery with repeatability, deep plunge through the back to initiate arm stroke, fastball comes out with angle and significant life, fastball worked 70-75 mph and is very tough to square up due to the life he creates on it, can run it and cut it. Showed curveball with very good depth and 1/7 shape, did a good job throwing it for strikes. Struggled with fastball command some. Hits from open stance, showed inside-out approach with hands inside, swing has some length to it, can get the ball into the air with some jump at times.
