Tripp Patterson is a 2024 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-8 115 lb. frame from Alexandria, AL who attends Alexandria. Medium frame with slender build showing room to still add physically down the road. Ran a 8.63 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working with a simple operation overall as he stays balanced throughout the delivery. Easy arm action as he released from a high three-quarter slot. Does a good job getting extended and drives with the lower half. Feel for a three pitch mix that had hitters off-balance. Fastball with arm side run up to 69 mph and a breaking ball showing 2-to-8 movements. Also mixed in a nasty changeup that was his out pitch. Feel on the mound showing and projects here in a big way. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure to gather it cleanly. Slows momentum down before working into transfers. Accurate around the bag as he threw it 66 mph. Left-Handed Hitter, starting balanced with an even hand set. Hands get deep upon separation before working into a downhill swing path. Looked to drive the baseball the other way when possible.
