Colin Glass is a 2020 1B/LHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Yorkville, IL who attends Yorkville. Large frame with an athletic build and square shoulders. Ran a 7.91 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary first baseman. Fields the ball out front with long exchanges. Quickness to exchanges with a compact action in the back. Developing arm strength across the field topping out at 71 miles per hour. Lefthanded hitter with a narrow and open stance. Utilizes a short leg lift trigger for timing. Starts with hands back and into a bar. Flat plane through the zone with a longer path to the ball. More contact oriented approach with all fields contact. Secondary lefthanded pitcher with a small side step delivery into a high leg lift. Has balance at the gather and gets into drop and drive actions to the plate. Loose arm action in the back into a three-quarter slot. Lands slightly closed creating cross fire action to the plate. Straight fastball on both sides of the plate topping out at 75 miles per hour. Mixes in a sweeping breaking ball with looser spin to the zone. Excellent student as well.
