Ryan Cave is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westlake. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.30 seconds. Switch-hitter, even-based from left side, onto front side with steep swing path, gets barrel out and shows solid contact; shows similar sweeping barrel path from right side, gets barrel turned out front, shows good barrel skills and hands from both sides. Worked out in the infield, bends at waist, methodical pace to actions, hands clean when out front, clocked up to 74 mph on throws across the diamond. Very good student.
