Chance Roberts is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard West. Medium athletic build with good lower half strength. Works from the stretch and lands closed out front with his landing leg, works around his core well and repeats his mechanics. Fastball worked in the upper 70's, mostly straight with occasional running life. Curveball was his best pitch, had consistent depth and spin and lands it well for strikes, used it effectively against right handed hitters and got some bad swings on the pitch. 7.32 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound, has athletic actions through the ball and a quick transition and release on his throws, maintained momentum into his throws, fielded out front with soft and sure hands, fundamentals stood out. Left handed hitter, hit from an open stance with some rhythm and flow into his swing, drops his head prior to contact, gets some jump when he squares it up, mostly pull side contact. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
