Joshua Weinstein is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-1 245 lb. frame from Monroe Twp, NJ who attends Monroe Twp. XL frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.14 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, simplistic delivery that he repeats well, compact plunge through back of arm stroke, stays inline well, high three quarters slot with plane, fastball worked 77-82 mph with command to both sides of the plate, can sink it at times, showed curveball with good depth when on top, also flashed changeup with fade, did a very good job of throwing strikes. Hits from even-based stance with high hands and back elbow, steep entry path with high finish, showed ability to work to all fields. Worked out at first base, fields cleanly in deeper high funnel, turns well and makes accurate throws, clocked up to 77 mph. Good student.
