Cole Reynolds is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Somerset, KY who attends Somerset. Lean, athletic build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.15 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Displayed athletic actions working to and through the baseball with clean glove actions and good range working to both sides of the infield. Flashed a clean backhand with the ability to work through the baseball. Showed clean transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry across the diamond topping out at 84 mph to first base. Employs a slightly spread stance with a big leg lift trigger. Showed a quiet, direct hand path to the baseball with good barrel speed creating consistently driven line drives. Flashed the ability to drive the ball to and through the gaps in the outfield consistently with good barrel control and bat speed. Excellent student. Named to the 2019 Ohio Valley Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
