Triston Brashears-Cervantes is a 2022 C/1B, 3B with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Seguin, TX who attends Navarro. Medium frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.98 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, spreads out in box, active hands in load, grooved swing path, strength stands out when on time, can drive the ball pull-side, swing gets downhill at times. Worked out behind the plate, long stride out in front of plate, stiffer in lower half through movements, length to arm stroke, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Good student.
