Brendan Benner is a 2024 C/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Valley Christian Schools. Primary catcher with a physical build. Accurate arm behind the dish with subtle carry to his throws. Solid feet and movements into his pop time. Receives it cleanly. Secondary outfielder, works uphill on his charge. Receives it well with promising arm strength and carry. Good accuracy to throws on a line. Right-handed pitcher, high three-quarter release with a short, sinking fastball that topped 73 mph out of the hand. Curveball has a bit of loose break with more in store. Right-handed hitter, even base with a linear path. Gets extended out front with some intent and strength. Showed some feel for the barrel to all fields. Excellent student.
