Jordan Polimeni is a 2007 C/OF with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Thousand Oaks CA, who attends Agoura. Polimeni has a stocky build with good strength. Defensively, Polimeni moves well behind the plate and is a solid receiver. Polimeni's release is quick and he tends to throw uphill on his throws down to second base. At the plate he starts with a wide stance and swings from a crouch. His feet are square to the plate and he has a solid approach in the batter's box. Polimeni swings on a line drive swing path and looks to hit the ball from gap to gap. He has the ability to hit the ball to all fields and showed good opposite field power in batting practice. He has quick hands to the ball and has a good idea of how to hit. Polimeni has strong hands which allow him to handle wood. Hitting is Polimeni's best present tool.
