Caleb Lear is a 2026 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Brentwood, TN who attends Pro5 Baseball Academy. Athletic build with good length and lots of physical projection remaining. Works from a low leg raise delivery with a compact arm action and a high release slot. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 84 mph, has more velocity there as he continues to mature physically. Threw both a cuveball and slider that tended to blend together, also threw a firm change up. Threw strikes with all four pitches and showed his athleticism defensively coming off the mound. 7.04 runner in the sixty. Showed very good arm strength from both the infield and outfield in drills, easy mover in the infield who can play on the run and change arm angles. Right handed hitter, starts from an upright balanced stance with a knee raise trigger, has strength in his swing and good bat speed, hits middle away with some juice. Very good all around athlete with two-way potential. Outstanding student. Named to the Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
