Brendon Kolkemeyer is a 2020 3B/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Gibsonburg, OH who attends Gibsonburg HS. Medium build with present strength to lower half. Ran a 7.69 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves to the ball with developing footwork, fields out in front with reaching hands, made all plays but would like to see attack baseball with more intent, arm projects but shows average arm strength at this time topping out at 75 mph across the diamond. Also pitched, big side step into delivery, full arm action with a slight wrap through the backside up to a 3/4 slot, throws very easy, should likely add some tempo to delivery especially on offspeed pitches, slowed down delivery on breaking ball and changeup. Righthanded hitter, loads onto backside into swing, should utilize weight transfer into swing for added bat speed and pop, load tends to be late, inside hand path with developing hand and bat speed at this time, needs to add strength for added pop off of the barrel.
