Tony Incontro is a 2020 C/1B with a 6-1 184 lb. frame from Lebanon, CT who attends Lyman Memorial. Large and physical frame with strength present on his build. Ran an 8.54 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up behind the plate with a higher side saddle position, gets out of his crouch and works through the baseball well, takes a longer arm action into throws while getting on top and out in front with accuracy to the second base bag, takes a long stride at release and produced a 2.13 second best pop time. Also pitched, graded out best on the mound, starts his windup with a side step up to a high leg lift, takes his arm back to an extended arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, lands closed and will work over his front side to the plate, fastball is straight and topped out at 80 mph, curveball flashed 12-6 shape and sharp biting action. Righthanded hitter, takes a short hand path to contact staying direct with swing, liner stroke with a line drive plane and strength when on time, ball comes off well and will continue to improve with proper refinement.
