Kaehukai Young is a 2021 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Fresno, CA who attends Fresno. Ran a 7.45 second sixty-yard dash. Larger frame with an athletic build. Sits back before funneling out front in the infield. Shows some good lateral range to each side, flashes a clean glove while working to and through the baseball. Developing arm strength from a three-quarters slot at 82 miles per hour. Upright and slightly open stance at the plate, staying tall on the back side before shifting well into contact. Has a smooth line drive plane with quicker hands through extension. Repeats swing well, showing the ability to stay balanced and use all fields. Some present athleticism to the swing, flashes power at times. Excellent student.
