Chance Merlin is a 2019 2B/SS with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Canfield, OH who attends Canfield HS. Slender young middle infielder's build. 7.46 runner, second base actions on defense, has a very compact arm action with a quick release, best moving to his left or through the ball with good footwork. Right handed hitter, big load onto his back side, tends to stay on his back side in his swing, long and loose swing with a deep barrel wrap, best contact is to the middle of the field with some carry when he's timed up. Very good student.
