Luke Fleming is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Hendersonville, TN who attends Beech Senior. Showcased a large frame with an athletic presence. Lean with some room to fill in the future. Ran a 6.90 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop working well through the baseball. Showing range both ways as well. Makes sure of clean transfer. Throws around the bag starting to show carry. Great feel for the position. Secondary Righthanded pitcher starting from first base side of the mound working into a slower tempo. Balanced throughout with good rhythm and timing. Longer arm circle in the back before delivering from an over the top arm slot. Fluid, clean arm action showing easy velo. Filled up the zone with his fastball topping out at 81 mph while mixing in a curveball with slurvy shape and a changeup with advanced feel that is his best off speed pitch. Righthanded hitter starting wide while sitting into his legs. High hands before working into a linear swing path. Slight leg lift before landing balanced. Gets extended at times showing bat speed to be a plus. Gap to gap type approach finding the barrel often. Outstanding Student.
