Gibbons is a 2005 OF from Kitchener, ON, Can with a 6'1"/175 pound frame. He has good arm strength topping out at 84 mph from the outfield. He showed good arm action with above average accuracy and good carry. He has good reactions in the outfield, and gets a good jump on balls. As a hitter, he hits from a controlled stance with a level swing and a very high finish. . He has quick hands with a short compact stroke that generates good bat speed. He has good bat control, and uses the whole field. He will hit! Chad is a good student.
