Dayne Metoyer is a 2020 LHP/ with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Hermosa Beach, CA who attends Loyola. Medium frame with a slender build and room to add in the future. Primary lefthanded pitcher who throws primarily from the stretch. High leg kick above the belt and lands slightly closed off generating some crossfire action. Hip coil at the gather. Long and loose arm circle in the back and releases from a side arm slot. Fast arm on the fastball with late run sitting in the mid 70's and topping out at 78 miles per hour. Throws to both halves of the plate but works mostly away from the hitter. Sweeping curveball with two-plane movements and late bite. Cutting action to the changeup. Hides the ball well and keeps hitters off balance. Good student as well.
