Efrain Ruiz is a 2019 OF/3B/IF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Moca, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Nice athletic build, , long arms, has some present strength with plenty of room for more. 6.83 runner, moves to the ball well in the outfield, long strides to the ball, young footwork through his throws, has good arm strength with some carry on his throws. Also plays the infield but skills are well behind his outfield skills. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a high hand load, long and loose swing, front side and head will come off early, middle of the field to opposite field contact,flashes some carry but key to development will be shortening up and getting to his power potential more often.
