Jose Ayala is a 2006 MIF from Manati, Puerto Rico with a 5'11", 155 lb. frame. Jose has a lean athletic build. At the plate Jose is a contact hitter that will put the ball in play consistently. Defensively Jose has a great set of hands that make him an ideal middle infielder. He has very smooth actions at SS, and a solid arm that could make him into a solid MIF at the next level. With continued work on his approach at the plate and added strength, Jose Ayala could develop into a solid ball player.
