Dalton Burrell is a 2019 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Bossier City, LA who attends Airline HS. Big and strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from an open wide base with a big leg lift trigger, front side tends to come off very early in his swing, long and strong swing, can impact the ball hard when squared up. Big target at first base, fields the ball cleanly out front, has some raw arm strength. Also pitched, short compact arm action from a 3/4's arm slot, stays balanced well in his delivery, low effort release and repeats his mechanics well. Steady low 80's fastball, gets some running action at times, throws strikes with his fastball and challenges hitters. Threw on change up and turned it over well, did not observe a breaking ball. Good student.
