Angelo Passarelli is a 2021 C/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from St. Petersburg, FL who attends Admiral Farragut Academy. Medium frame with a lean, athletic type look. Ran a 7.20 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, good first step instincts as he worked to and through the baseball smoothly. Clean gather out front as he scoops it up with confidence in the leather. Very urgent with transfers as he gets the baseball out of hand quickly. Accurate throws from multiple slots as he threw it 76 mph across the diamond during drills. Feel showing for the position and projects here going forward. Will make a big jump with a strength gain. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from a spread out stance while sitting down in the legs. Active hands as he works into stride while creating separation. Quick hands as he threw the bat head at the baseball with a short, simple cut. Stays linear as he proved he could spray it to all fields on a line. Advanced bat on ball skills showing as he found the barrel consistently. Outstanding Student.
