Zachary Szpindor is a 2020 C/ with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Pottstown, PA who attends Pope John Paul II HS. Recorded a 7.89 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some present physicality currently on the build. Primary catcher with arm strength recorded up to 71 mph. Deliberate actions with a bit of a longer arm path to release. Some flexibility behind the plate with a best recorded pop time of 2.08 seconds. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open start and big leg lift trigger into the swing. High hand set with a high back elbow and has a shorter swing path. Upper half dominant swing and can get more power through added use of the lower half through the baseball. Contact oriented and patient approach with most of the contact coming on the ground to the pull side. Good student.
