David Lozano is a 2023 SS with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Sylmar, CA who attends Harvard-Westlake. Medium frame with a lean, athletic type build. Ran a 7.09 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, fluid in his actions as he works well to and through the baseball. Confident with the glove as he scoops it up and bounces into throws. Arm strength still young but was very accurate from multiple angles. Will make a big jump with a strength gain as the instincts are showing. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced and then works into a short stride in as the hands sink. Linear cuts while staying short and simple to the baseball. Finds barrels and sprays it on a line to all fields. Also proved to have some pull-side pop when he got extended. Good Student.
