Collin Cook is a 2019 3B/2B with a 5-10 168 lb. frame from Waukee, IA who attends Dowling Catholic HS. Medium frame with an athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Ran a 6.97 sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman with fundamentally sound footwork while working to and surrounding the baseball. Funnels the baseball with two hand out front and worked through exchange deliberately. Developing accuracy while throwing across the infield topping at 74 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an even, crouched stance. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Created bat speed while working to contact on a linear plane. Flashed the ability to throw bat head to contact and work to pull side with some aggression when on time. Excellent student as well.
