Grant Rodriguez is a 2019 1B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Rochester, NY who attends Rush-Henrietta HS. Large frame with strong, physical present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.24 seconds. Hits from very wrapped start with hands loaded behind head, wide-set stance, loops hands into load, shows good bat speed once he gets going, good strength out front when on time, showed power back through the middle and the opposite way, covers outer third of plate well. Worked out at 1st base, hands work well to both sides with clean funnel, some hop to actions overall, makes pivot cleanly, clocked up to 69 mph on throws. Good student.
