Daniel Carpenter is a 2018 RHP/ with a 6-6 185 lb. frame from Moreno Valley, CA who attends Martin Luther King. Large frame with long limbs and a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional size and strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a small rock step to high leg lift delivery. Stays tall on back side and utilized lower half well while working to the plate with drop and drive actions. Stays in line with front side and carries momentum through finish well. Loose arm circle at take back and released from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball jumped out of hand very well creating heavy downhill tilt through the zone with arm side run in the mid to upper 80's, topped at 88 miles per hour. Tends to slow arm speed slightly with a cuveball offering that had 10/5 shape with late depth in the low 70's. Consistently attacked the strike zone with feel for each quadrant of the strike zone.
