Colin Karrer is a 2021 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Eastern HS. Medium and young frame, skinny, lots of room to fill with time to do so. Ran a 7.70 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman, took reps in the infield fielding the baseball out in front with two hands, makes a quick transfer from his glove to his hand, works into release with a short arm action and developing arm strength. Secondary righthanded pitcher, begins windup with a side step up to a high leg lift, takes arm back to a long arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, fastball topped out at 69 mph, mixed in a 12-6 curveball with lots of depth. Righthanded hitter, takes a big shift into contact, swings with intent, present timing ability with hands that work into swing well, pop off of the barrel will continue to improve with additional strength to his frame. Outstanding student.
