Elijah Selga is a 2024 C/OF with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Big and strong build, looks bigger than listed. Left handed hitter, hits from a hanging front leg load, loads his hands tight, fires his hands and hips hard, pull power approach with lift in his swing and plenty of present bat speed, turns the barrel easily, has the tools to execute with this approach. Primary catcher on defense, has a short and compact arm action, can improve his lower half direction and footwork throwing, works hard in his blocking skills. Also worked out in the outfield. Bat is his tool. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
