Kevin Fedoruk is a 2020 C with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from San Juan Capistrano, CA who attends Capistrano Valley. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.54 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, begins with a lower set behind the plate, receives the ball out front, pops out of crouch and gets tall, can finish through throws better, tight release from ear with present arm strength and carry down to second base, works on top of throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box; limited shift through lower half, pulls hands back at start. Hands stay inside throughout swing, looks to pull at point of contact and shows ability to work the middle and opposite fields as well. Creates some extension out front, can shorten hand load to get the barrel out consistently. Excellent student.
