Danny Fannin is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Coolidge, GA who attends Thomas County Central. Medium frame with a lean build and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional strength with continue physical maturity. Primary outfielder with quick, aggressive footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Clean glove actions while working through pick up and utilizing a quick, compact arm circle into release. Throws generated accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 76 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing smooth paced, deliberate footwork while rounding the baseball. Funnels the baseball out front and worked through exchange with developing fluidity. Flashed occasional range to each side with the ability to throw from multiple arm angles across the infield, topped at 73 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance. Stays on back side and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose, extended path to contact and primarily utilized a mid field to opposite field approach. Flashed some jump off the barrel when working to the middle of the field on a line. Also pitched showing a simple rock step to medium leg lift delivery. Good hip turn at gather and worked in line to the plate. Released from a high three-quarters arm slot showing occasional arm side run with slight sink in the upper 60's to low 70's, topped at 71 miles per hour. Curveball had proper shape with developing depth in the low 60's. Very good student.
