Chayton Kenyon is a 2020 C/SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Idyllwild, CA who attends Hemet. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build and wiry strength. Primary catcher with a low, side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains some ground while working out of crouch with loose lower half actions. Clean, quick exchanges and released from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced some on line carry to the bag at 70 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.14. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, open stance and high back elbow set. Inside hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Flashes some fast twitch actions with a fluid stroke when landing on time with front side. Primarily utilized a mid field approach with the developing barrel feel to work the other was as well.
