Jonathan Cross is a 2019 RHP/ with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Thomas Jefferson. Extra large frame with a projectable build. Righthanded pitcher with a short side step to belt high leg lift delivery. Stays flexed at the gather utilizing drop and drive actions to the plate. Long and loose arm action in the back working from a three-quarter arm slot. Stays in rhythm well with a good pace on the mound. Fastball shows glove side life topping out at 85 miles per hour with command of the pitch in all quadrants of the zone. Still developing feel for the curveball with a 10-to-4 more sweeping shape. Has some depth to the pitch. Verbal commitment to Southeastern CC.
