Dylan Grotte is a 2018 OF/2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Tumwater, WA who attends Tumwater HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, very open stance, is late closing at time, swings hard and generates bat speed, ball jumps when he's on time and squares the ball up, can make adjustments for more consistent square contact. 7.56 runner, plays faster in the games, very aggressive player who is full speed all the time. Works through the ball well in the outfield with good glove position and footwork, makes strong accurate on line throws, made one spectacular all out diving catch in centerfield. Good athlete who plays with energy.
