Matt Madison is a 2021 C with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Paola, KS who attends Louisburg. Compact build with present strength and room to fill out. Ran a 7.76 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Employs a side saddle set up with out front receiving actions. Displayed a developing exchange into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to the bases topping out at 71 mph and posting a 2.22 second pop time to second base. Right handed hitter. Employs a slightly open stance with a high hand and leg lift trigger to go along with a line drive path through the zone. Displayed good barrel control creating consistently driven line driven contact to the middle of the field. Flashed the ability to create line drive jump off the barrel when on time and squared. Great student.
