Maxwell Moore is a 2020 C/3B/OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Oregon City, OR who attends Lakeridge HS. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength with continue physical maturity. Primary catcher with a low, side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains ground while working out of crouch and receives the baseball with two hands. Extended front side stride and works through exchange with a low glove circle. Released from a taller position generating softer carry to the bag. Right handed hitter with a balanced stance. Loose, extended path to contact with a level plane through extension. Consistently repeated path and plane while swinging with intent. Showed develop feel for the barrel and looked to work to the middle of the field. Tools will continue to develop with maturity. Excellent student.
