Ethan Fender is a 2022 MIF/RHP/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Springdale, AR who attends Har-Ber. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread bent over stance with a wrapped barrel start, has quick hands with good strength in his swing, swings with intent and creates some barrel whip, well timed swing, ball comes off the barrel hard with some carry. 7.15 runner, works low behind the ball well and has side to side athletic range, has some arm strength but tends to wind up to throw and can quicken his release. Also pitched, compact arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, short stride out front. Mid-70's fastball that is mostly straight, slider was his best pitch with good power and a true late slider darting break, threw strikes and a had a quick and efficient outing. Excellent student.
