Hart Hancock is a 2019 1B with a 6-6 216 lb. frame from West Linn, OR who attends West Linn HS. Tall, long frame with a lean build. Frame projects for support additional size with strength. Primary first baseman with clean footwork while centering the baseball. Quick actions while pivoting to throw to second base. Released from a high three-quarters slot producing softer, accurate carry across the infield. Right handed hitter with a crouched stance and simple front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose, extended path to contact with a slightly lifted plane through extension. Primarily worked to the middle of the field a pull side gap. Flashed some jump off the barrel to the pull side gaps when on time and squared. Tools will continue to develop with mechanical refinement and repetition. Excellent student.
