Alexx Sanders is a 2019 RHP with a 6-11 150 lb. frame from Boise, ID who attends Centennial HS. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional size with strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a side step to high leg lift delivery. Stays flexed on back side at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Lands in line with the plate and carries momentum to target well. Compact arm circle at take back and released from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball flashed occasional downhill tilt through the zone in the upper 60's to low 70's, topped at 71 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with good spin and some depth in the low 60's. Tends to slow arm speed with breaking ball but flashed the feel to locate for strikes in both positive and negative counts. Right handed hitter with a a balanced stance. Created top half coil at load and works to contact on a direct path. Swung with intent and looked to drive the baseball to the gaps. Outstanding student.
