Jacob Changala is a 2020 RHP/MIF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Wapato, WA who attends East Valley HS. Slender young build, lots of room and time to get stronger. Has a very compact arm action on the mound from a tight 3/4's arm slot, short stride out front, hides the ball well, simple delivery mechanics that are easy to repeat. Very steady fastball velocity, mid-70's for four innings, fastball is mostly straight. Curveball was a solid pitch for him with good depth and some feel, throws his curveball for strikes and has confidence in it. Rare change up that had good arm speed and can be thrown more often. Has an idea on the mound and filled up the strike zone once he settled down. Right handed hitter, very busy hand load with a low hand start, mid to opposite field contact.
