Dylan Rush is a 2020 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Warrenton, OR who attends Astoria HS. Slender very young build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall stance with a big leg raise and tuck trigger, stays on time well, long and loose swing, handles the barrel well with mid field contact, has the hitting feel and mechanics to keep improving as he gets stronger. Busy feet on defense, stays active and plays with energy, compact arm action with developing arm strength, will have to continue to work on improve overall speed and quickness. Also pitched, good direction to the plate from a drop and drive delivery, long and loose arm action from a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, mostly straight, tended to slow his arm on his secondary pitches. Very good student.
