Sebastian Smith is a 2021 3B/RHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Lakewood, CA who attends Wilson. Large physical build with room to still strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, fields out in front and shows softness to both sides. Makes the routine play consistently, developing footwork to the baseball, strong feel for his glove makes up for developing footwork. Arm across the diamond is good and will continue to improve with his projectable build. At the plate, uses a very narrow and open stance with a long stride trigger. Uphill barrel plane through the zone. Great pop when on time, at his best when working through the middle of the field. Good bat speed through the zone, excellent student in the classroom as well.
