Kyle Fannin is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 5-8 152 lb. frame from Meridian, ID who attends Meridian HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Very simple mechanics on the mound, few variables in his delivery, has nice balance and good direction to the plate, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, mostly straight with the ability to move the ball around the strike zone. Showed very good feel for an 11/5 curveball with good depth. Strike machine with both pitches, cruised through four innings of work on a low pitch count. Right handed hitter, deep arm bar load, long and loose swing, gets the barrel out in time, spray line drive contact. Has good footwork in the outfield with the same type of accuracy on throws from the outfield. Sound fundamental player who will get better as he gets stronger. Good student.
