Tyler Reese is a 2020 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 141 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Issaquah HS. Slender young build, lots of time and room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, upper body swing, has quick hands and is short to the ball, downward swing plane, contact approach he executes well. 7.67 runner, rounds the ball well on defense and has good balance and lower half action, quick release from a lower arm slot, makes accurate soft throws, projects well as a defender. Also pitched, has a back turn delivery with a cross body delivery and an over the top arm slot, gets good leverage and angle on his pitches. Curveball was his best pitch, gets consistent depth and shape and is thrown for strikes. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, maintained his velocity well. Threw four innings in around 50 pitches, really did a nice job as a secondary pitcher. Good student.
