Justin Smith is a 2020 2B/3B, SS, OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Howard. Medium frame with slender, athletic build. Excellent runner, clocked a 6.76 second 60 yard dash time. Hits from even-based stance, big leg lift trigger, hands stay close to body through swing, creates quality bat speed, stays committed to the middle of the field with line drive plane, did a nice job making consistent contact. Worked out in the infield, sits back a bit on the ball, moves well to the ball with quality athleticism and twitch, works through the ball well, clocked up to 74 mph on throws. Good student.
