Max Stanley is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Douglas County. Lean young build with lots of physical projection remaining. High leg raise and tuck delivery, full arm circle in back with a high 3/4's arm slot, arm works well with good extension out front. Fastball worked up to 91 mph with plenty more velocity there as he gets stronger, tends to ramp up his effort on his fastball release more than on his secondary pitches, fastball is mostly straight. Nice curveball with good power and shape, gets on top of the pitch very well. Slider was more of a cutter with short consistent shape. Showed potential on a firm change up with some fading action. Had a nice outing mixing his four pitches and throwing strikes with all of them. Interesting young arm. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
