Ryan Chamberlain is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Laramie, WY who attends Laramie. Slender build with a high waist, projectable frame moving forward and room to fill out. Ran a 7.11 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Stays low working through the baseball. Fields out in front with quickness in hands and smooth exchanges. Ball comes out of the hand well making online throws at 77 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an even stance and high hand set. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Works through a line drive plane with an occasional more elevated path as well. Gets the ball into the air with lift at the point of contact. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a quick foot turn delivery into a high leg lift above the belt. Lands mostly in line to the plate on a soft plant leg. Slight drop and drive actions to the plate with some occasional tilt. Longer arm action in the back with some looseness to delivery. Mostly straight fastball sitting in the upper 70's and topping out at 80 miles per hour. Longer and looping curveball with some depth keeping the pitch below the knees. Very good student as well.
