Baylor Edge is a 2021 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Monticello, GA who attends Jasper County. Large to Extra-Large frame with an already filling out build. Ran a 7.89 second sixty yard dash. Primary Firstbaseman, showing good feet as he is under control at all times. Keeps the baseball in front of him. Clean gather out front before showing a whippy arm action. Accurate to the bag as he threw it 72 MPH during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, starting a bit open before he works into a toe tap and lift. Shorter arm circle in the back as he went on to deliver from an over the top slot. Fastball was up to 72 MPH as he did a good job of finding corners with it. Also mixed in a curveball with slurvy looks that he landed for strikes. Left-Handed Hitter, working with an even stance with a high hand load into stride. Leg lift as he went on to generate good hand speed. Fired his hips as he proved to have some pop when he gets extended. Looks to pull the baseball when possible. Fundamentally sound swing. Outstanding Student.
